TOWNS END OUTFITTERS • POLO CLOTHING SHOWCASE

Earlier this month Ryan was flown out to Calgary, Canada by Town’s End Outfitters, a designer active wear and performance apparel company, whose owners are passionate about the industries they service. Brit and Carolyn, who own Town’s End Outfitters , are two incredible women who absolutely love polo, golf, tennis, and shooting but above all, horses.

Some of the brands featured in this Polo shoot were Miasuki, Hurlingham Polo, Noel Asmar Equestrian, and the featured line directly by Town’s End Outfitters.

An excerpt from Ry’s travel journal:

What started out as dark rainy days quickly turned into scattered clouds that littered the sky allowing for the most amazing natural light to peek through the clouds. We were actually shooting on Canada Day and a member of the polo club had brought cupcakes with little Canada flags pricked in the top to celebrate.

This shoot had many variables, not only was I having to pay deep attention to the cloths, but I also had to take into consideration that some of them were action sport shots and others were photos with a large horse that also needed to be posed well. All of these factors made this photoshoot that much more fun and taking photos in the middle of the polo field, on foot, with huge horses are running at me made this the most exhilarating experience of the entire trip. By the end of the shoot Chloe, one of the models and a fantastic polo player, gave me some lessons on how to play polo.
