ISAAC + CHRISTY • HIDDEN PHOTOGRAPHER PROPOSAL + ENGAGEMENT
Kind, Gentle, and Integral, those are just a few words that we would pare with Isaac Carillo. These attributes we don’t hold lightly and its for that reason we couldn’t be more happy for Cristy to soon be his wife. We have known Isaac since around 2012 and sparingly have kept in contact since we started our business. When it came time for him to propose he contacted us and was ecstatic to share the day with us and we couldn’t be more happy to share it with him.
The proposal took place at Table Rock Beach, Laguna, California. One of the most beautiful and private beaches on the other west cost. The sand isn’t too small to be stuck to your body for days after and isn’t large enough to feel rough on your feet as you head to the shore line. The Beach is surrounded by cliffs filled with beautiful sand and a single table of rocks filled with tide pools. The sun shines beautifully into the caverns as the sunset takes place, filling each craves with beautiful colors.
We took the opportunity to take our Sons to that beach for the day while we await his arrival. Our now four month old identical twins had never seen the ocean before and it would be their first time setting their feet in the sand. Our 3 year old had been asking us to get out of the heat and head to the ocean for weeks. So, there wasn’t a better time to take the beach trip.
As we play on the beach and we watch the clock, we get a text that Isaac. They hit bad traffic and would be running 30 minutes late. His proposal was at sunset, so this was a problem for light. None of us were hindered. He was proposing, for he couldn’t wait any longer. Their four year relationship brought them to this moment and Isaac wasn’t going to be deterred.
As they showed up and walked down to the beach Christy was unsuspecting of what Isaac was about to do and she was enjoying the moment of staring out at the ocean with Isaac.
Knowing that Ryan was in position, Isaac did his best to get her to look at him, but she was marveling in the moment at the ocean and being in the presence of the person she loves, totally oblivious to what Isaac was about to do.
Seeing Isaac Drop to one knee, Christy was totally taken by surprise and coudln’t be any more ecstatic of what she was experiencing. She had been wanting to marry Isaac for so long and he was finally asking her. After she said, “Yes!”, Christy and Isaac took a few minutes to marvel in the joy and excitement of their new venture in life.
