WE'RE PREGNANT .... WITH???

Over the past 2 years our lives have become more amazing than we could have ever imagined. The growth of our business has been nothing more than a blessing along side of raising our boy Emerson. The cliche of saying nothing makes you happier then your children has been fully realized through him and the joy that comes just from watching him grow and change in the smallest ways brings tears to our eyes. Tears of both joy and sadness; sadness because of the realization that your baby is no longer a baby and joy through watching him turn into a moral man with his own cares and thoughts in the world.

We are so excited to share in another new adventure of ours with everyone. Jasmin is pregnant again and the joy of raising another child was something that we had been hoping for, for a long time. A sibling for Emerson was the most exciting thing to look foreword to, whether boy or girl it didn’t matter. We were just excited to grow our family even more.

Our first ultrasound appointment arrived and we were excited to hear our babies heart beat and share in that moment with Emerson. We had already found out the gender through a blood test so went in with excitement just see and hear our new baby. Our OBGYN scanned left and right, measuring our little baby’s size, making sure everything was in proper order, and performing her regulatory scans. Finally, the moment was here, the moment we had talked up to Emerson so much, the heart beat. As it pound, Emerson and our interest peaked and honed in on the screen and the pulsing sounds of our little baby’s heart beat. As the scan was finishing up our doctor took a look around one last time and as she was about to lift up her wand she exclaims with excitement and surprise, “and there is baby number 2”. The shock and surprise we were feeling was beyond words. In fact, we literally had no words. It’s something we hadn’t even considered being an outcome. Our shock quickly grew to exhilaration.

The smooth sailing second pregnancy we were expecting quickly changed to an adventure we weren’t expecting. We couldn’t be more excited and neither could Emerson for his twin brothers.

WE ARE HAVING IDENTICAL TWINS BOYS!

Here are some photos we took in two different locations.

The first one was when we were traveling in Canada. While we were at Lake Louise and Banff. We photographed and filmed the moment we found out the gender of what we thought was our single baby boy.

The second location is Jasmin at 19 weeks in Oak Glen, California after finding out that we are having identical boys.

As we go through this pregnancy we ask for your prayers, as our baby boys are sharing one placenta which could cause complications through pregnancy.
